Got some mason, pickle or another kind of jars around? Well, doesn’t everybody. They can be used again, and can be filled with a scrumptious layered mix of ingredients as a recipe for making cookie dough. Start with one jar, about 500 milliliters (about half of a pint) in size for practice. There are just six ingredients in the recipe. Get a jar and carefully drop a layer of each ingredient into the jar. In this order, put in some flour, chips of your choice such as chocolate, white chocolate or butterscotch, raisins or other dried fruit, granulated butter or shortening, and oatmeal flakes. Finally, as one single layer, mix together a little baking soda, salt and powdered vanilla extract.
